Delivery Information for United Interiors
When it comes to delivering furniture, many furniture companies simply send goods by carrier and expect you to wait in all day, at United Interiors we strive to deliver a first-class service. especially when it comes to deliveries. For mainland England, Wales & Scotland we offer the following options: 1-man delivery service
Goods will be delivered to your door or to just inside the property. This delivery option is ideal for small to medium-sized orders where 1-man is sufficient or where the Customer can assist with taking goods into the home. As part of this service we will : As an extra option, packaging can be removed (see below) NB: standard timescales apply 2-man delivery service A 2-Man delivery service, for large orders which require such manpower. Goods will be taken into your room(s) of choice, this includes upstairs locations such as bedrooms. As part of this service we will : As an extra option, packaging can be removed (see below) NB: standard timescales apply ![]() Scotland: Currently we offer delivery only to DG, EH, G, KA, ML & TD postcodes, delivery charge is £29.99 (1-man service) or £39.99 (2-man). For this we use 2-man teams as standard, and unpackage option is also available. Because of high replacement/collection costs we cannot offer delivery to other Scotland postcodes. Unpack & Packaging Removal Option
As part of our Bronze & Silver services, we also offer an unpacking option whereby goods supplied will be unpacked, and all packaging materials will be removed for disposal/recycling. At only £4.99 this is worth every penny, removing the headache of of our Customers having to dispose of what can be a large amount of waste. If you do not select this option then goods delivered will not be unpacked. Carrier Deliveries Where goods ordered by our 1-man service are suitable for despatch by carrier we may offer this as a quicker option to reduce timescales, you can decline this in favour of a timed & booked delivery in which case standard timescales may occur. Additionally we now offer carrier options on selected ranges. * this time will be an estimation, delays due to traffic etc may occasionally occur ** our delivery will advise you if they are running more than 1 hour late *** this contact number is provided in the order confirmation email and can be used on the day of delivery only **** as requested (small chg applies), excludes items ordered 'boxed for home assembly' Select your appropriate delivery option from the drop-down list during the checkout process. OTHER DELIVERY LOCATIONS
We are currently unable to offer to delivery to any offshore locations, including Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland, Scottish Islands. COLLECTION To save on delivery charges, you are welcome to collect from our premises. We are open 10am-5pm Mon-Fri, collections on Saturday may be possible by prior arrangement. Select 'Collect' as your delivery option, we will contact you when goods are available to collect. SOLID CONSTRUCTION/ASSEMBLY SERVICE Apart from our beds, wardrobes, dining sets and 'budget/home assembly' ranges, most of our furniture is of solid construction and supplied fully ssembled, Every product states whether assembly is required or not, however every single item on our online store either is - or can be - supplied assembled (or in the case of beds & wardrobes, assembled upon delivery). Where applicable, products will have a 'home assembly' or 'assembled' option, if no option is provided then that item will be supplied assembled. Please note: although designed to be unassembled for delivery, some larger items (mainly large wardrobes) may contain larger solid parts which are inaccessible via narrow/winding stairs, please check with us prior to ordering. ARRANGING DELIVERIES When your order is available for delivery, we will contact you by telephone (therefore mobile/daytime numbers are important for us to contact you). Due to the efficient way we schedule deliveries we usually book deliveries 3-4 days in advance. We schedule deliveries by regions of the country using software, therefore when we book in your delivery we can estimate your delivery time (eg 1pm-2pm). We also use satellite navigation to locate your address without delay. For more information regarding delivery & timescales, please contact us. Most deliveries are made during the week, remember that at any time you can advise us of an alternative delivery address, eg neighbour or work. DAMAGES/RETURNS POLICY
Damages must be reported within 48 hours of delivery and supported by digital images (emailed), following your notification by email to our office we will contact you in due course to arrange exchange or supplemental delivery. Carrier Deliveries
